When my daughter was very little, I saw this graphic tee that stopped me in my tracks.
The shirt said “Elle est forte.” which is a French translation derived from a bible verse:
“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25
The reason I loved this shirt is because my daughter’s name is Elle, and I want nothing more for her in live than for her to know her own strength.
And to teach our young girls and boys how to tap into their own strength, we need to embrace our own.
I want all moms to feel strong. Not just to carry all the groceries in one trip (which is totally badass).
I want to help moms feel the strength in confidence;
To feel the strength in feeling sexy again;
To feel the strength within increased energy and fun with her family.
Building up that strength from within was an important part of my journey into a new phase of motherhood. Having your own personal confidence and sense of self allows you to lead by example and show your children how to stand in their own true light.
A strong, healthy, happy, mom, is a powerful mom.
